Breaking Ground

After a decade dreams, a year or better of planning, a month and some days of setbacks, we finally got to get this party started!  November 7, 2015, a couple days shy of my thirtieth birthday, we broke ground.  Really we'd planned to start in October, with the intentions of getting the the house up and enclosed before it got too cold.  We had to get some paperwork sorted out, making sure we were out of the floodplain.  Once we were squared away, we got started!
